McLarty For The Party

Dear Oklahoma State Republican Convention Delegate,

Please see the following letter from RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, dated April 27, 2016, concerning my work on the RNC Resolutions Committee.
This Committee work is an integral part of keeping the National Party attuned to the issues concerning the grassroots of America.
The National Committeewoman duties require diligence, rapport and trust. I will continue to defend Republican core principles and advance conservative policies as an RNC Member.  I appreciate your confidence and your support as I serve you on the RNC.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact me directly.
I ask for your support and your vote at the State Convention on May 14.
See you at the Oklahoma Republican State Convention!

God bless,

Carolyn

Off To The RNC Meeting

This is just a quick note to say I'm in Florida for a meeting of the Republican National Committee (I'm Oklahoma's National Committeewoman).  I'll have a full report to share with you, when I get home.

The Truth About the Presidential Primary

The State Chairman, David Weston; sent out a March 2015 OKGOP mass e-mail titled “The Truth About the Presidential Primary,” including what “advice and consent” was received from the Central and Executive Committees.

I’ve been getting inquiries about why the Committees are for SB233 and for a Winner-Take-All system (WTA).

That is not what [the] letter says and is not what the Central and Executive Committees said; however, it is very easy to read those thoughts into the letter.

The Executive Committee voted to allow SB233 to exist so that we could have the debate over WTA or Proportional systems for Oklahoma at the next State Committee meeting, April 10th.

We do not HAVE to do anything legislatively to keep the Super Tuesday date and the Proportional system.

May 5, 2012

Dear Oklahoma Republican Party State Convention Delegate,
Currently, I am serving my first term as Republican National Committeewoman for Oklahoma, and am running for re-election at the 2012 Oklahoma Republican State Convention on May 12th.

In the four years since my election in 2008, there have been many changes at the RNC. We now have a very active and organized conservative caucus of which I am a founding member.  The Republican National Conservative Caucus is a group of 26 current RNC members who are most interested in restoring Constitutional values to American government.
