Dear Oklahoma Republican Party State Convention Delegate,
Currently, I am serving my first term as Republican National Committeewoman for Oklahoma, and am running for re-election at the 2012 Oklahoma Republican State Convention on May 12th.

In the four years since my election in 2008, there have been many changes at the RNC. We now have a very active and organized conservative caucus of which I am a founding member.  The Republican National Conservative Caucus is a group of 26 current RNC members who are most interested in restoring Constitutional values to American government.

By networking and recruiting conservatives we have formed a larger group of 75 members called the RNC Conservative Steering Committee.  This Committee serves to evaluate Resolutions generated to address current issues, and to promote our values of social, fiscal and foreign defense conservatism through our influence on the RNC.  It is my honor to serve as the Chairman of this group.

Representing the 14 state Southern Region of the RNC, I serve on the Resolutions   Committee of the RNC.  This committee of nine RNC members evaluates all   Resolutions before they are presented to the full RNC at the official General Sessions.

The Conservative Steering Committee members have joined forces to become a   “philosophical fighting machine” by introducing and passing many RNC Resolutions.   It is enjoyable to write and assist other members to formulate our ideas into Resolutions that have been passed by the RNC General Sessions.

Examples of issues we have addressed are: (1) Fighting to protect the Electoral College against the National Popular Vote Compact project; (2) Exposing the extent and dangerous motivation of the plan of the United Nations Agenda 21; and, (3) Bringing attention to the Obama/Democrats’ March Towards Socialism.

The Conservative Caucus was also instrumental in helping turn the RNC into an effective and streamlined operation, primarily by the election of Reince Priebus as RNC Chairman. We are now well prepared to help our nominee defeat President Obama in 2012.  The work of uniting the party, including reining in the spending, maximizing our fundraising efforts and paying down our debt, is ongoing and critical in this election cycle.
The RNC is well along in the preparation process for the Republican National   Convention in Tampa, Florida in August.  I am serving on the Committee on Arrangements for the National Convention on the Volunteers Subcommittee. We can look forward to an organized, effective, entertaining, and energized Convention.

One of my duties as National Committeewoman is to diligently prepare timely reports for the Oklahoma State Committee from each official RNC meeting, and provided resource information to you as well. My goals are to continue defending Republican core principles and advancing conservative policies as an RNC Member.

It has been a privilege to be your representative on the Republican National Committee.   It’s also an honor to communicate to the national level the priorities of grassroots Oklahoman’s, and to report back to Oklahoma Republicans on the ongoing activities of the RNC.

I would appreciate your continued confidence, and am seeking your support for another four year term.  Please allow me to continue putting my experience to work for you by voting for my re-election on May 12th.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,

Carolyn
